As the leather stuff was all over the kitchen table anyway I took my chance and put together this simple leather envelope case. Coins, headphones, cards, keys, anything small really.......will fit in it.

To avoid making valentines day a commercial cliché. I think we should give each other things we've made.
Here are some ideas. You hold the key to my heart..... I want to read your book......... Your voice is music to my ears.......
The satisfaction of fixing and making your own things. It does require a few tools though. Here are some basic tool everyone should have at home.
Knitting is great therapy. It is actually proven that your heart rate slows down while knitting. Knitting Lovikka mittens is a good size project, you can actually finish them in a couple of days. I find it difficult to decorate with stitches so I felted some snowflakes onto mine. Pretty happy with the results.
I thought it looked very empty after taking down the christmas decorations from the door so I decided to make this welcome sign with a string of flags.
Made this for my 4 year old niece. Standar LOVIKKA pattern and just added that string that you put through the arms of the jacket that makes it impossible to lose the gloves (so useful).
To have a timetable on the door is so helpful. On my way out I always check who needs to be where when. Make one yourself or pick one up in the shop. Time to get organised.
