As I love knitting and the satisfaction of actually making something yourself instead of buying it, I'm well pleased with my new headband. Just in time for my ski-holiday as well. yay!
This is an easy pattern, good beginner project. Try it! Love the idea of this collection, but it is way to extravagant for my life style. An everyday version of this collection please! Imagine a 10 piece wardrobe for 365 days. Add some shoes and a warm coat. <3Presenting, the Ultra 10 from Ode to Liberty on Vimeo. Here is a list that can be useful when scaling down your wardrobe. It lists the most essential items both for winter and summer. I'm still far from this few items but I'm getting closer.
Making slow progress in my wardrobe. Tried to stick to: Do I love it?, Is it good quality? and Does it fit? But of course I couldn't. I found a whole pile of clothes that I think will fit the criteria after I worked on them a bit. I have a pair of linen trousers and a top with those hippie flared arms and legs. I´ll try and fix them with the no sow method described below. The same thing will work on the top as well.................................I hope. I'll try and give you some before and after pictures tomorrow.
Ok, to day is the day. I know less is more. Now it just has to happen. You could start at any end of you life really, but I find the place I tend to have the most unnecessary things, is in my wardrobe. I saw this video that really inspired me. I don't think I could wear only dresses but she gives some great advice on how to think about your clothes. You have to love the few items you have and quality and fit are vital. Today I will go through my entire wardrobe and pick out the gems according to the criteria Love it, fits well, good quality.
